I represent recording artists, songwriters, filmmakers, actors, models, music business and other entertainment industry executives, production companies, record labels, publishers, booking agencies, personal management companies and other entertainment businesses throughout the United States and all over the world. I am also President of Futid Productions L.L.C., a New Jersey Limited Liability Company, which creates Business Plans, Executive Summaries and raises funds for new businesses.
Before becoming a lawyer, I spent five years as a full-time professional touring and recording keyboard player and bassist, as well as a co-owner of a recording studio. I have been practicing entertainment law on a full-time basis since 1982 and have been involved in the law of the Internet since the early 1990s. Before opening my solo practice in 1996, I was in-house counsel and a Business Affairs executive for Radio City Music Hall in New York City and then a partner for ten years of Serling Rooks & Ungar, a major NYC entertainment law firm.
